Paying a mortgage with a credit card.

Good morning,

Basically as the title suggests, is it possible? I am trying to boost my avios miles and with £1000 a month mortgage I thought this would be a lucrative way of doing it...Firstly is it legal, secondly can I do it without using a third party and thirdly thanks for the advise!

    If your lender a) allows card payments and b) does not treat it as a cash purchase, then yes, you can do it.

    The odds are probably against it, though.
