If you are after a cheap but good CD-RW Currys (in store) have reduced theirs from £29.99 to £9.99.

It's just that I thought £29.99 was "expensive" for a CD writer.
However this PC World LiteOn unit is also a 16 x DVD ROM

They just cant shift cdrw drives since dvd burners can be had for just over 30 quid. Shame, I got 2 nearly new liteon 52x burners sitting in a drawer at work. At least for people who dont want dvd's its well cheap.
Obviously a dvd burner will burn cd's as well, in case some didnt realise this.0 -

Got the last one from Curry's in Bridgend (south wales) was told that it was discontinued and Dixon's in the area still had 5 in stock, however, not sure if dixon's are selling at the same price as I was in bristol earlier today and the dixon's store I was in was selling it at £19.99Welcome, rogerramjet.

These are now down to £4.97 at Currys and the CD writer DVD Combo drive (model no. SOHC-5232K) is now £9.99. But don't bother at Bolton (Middlebrook) I've just had the last one of each.All the World is a Stage; and I'm going through a difficult one at the moment!0
