Mortgage offer typo

Hello
I am a first time buyer and recently received my mortgage offer through the post. However there is a silly typing error on it - the survey was done on the correct property, and the correct property address is on the offer, however they have put that the property is on the second floor of the block of flats instead of the first floor which it is actually on.
My broker has spoken to my lender and says that they have said that it's fine and I should speak to them about changing it once I've completed, as otherwise they will have to redo the entire offer and with the new mortgage rules I may not get accepted. However my solicitor thinks it needs to be sorted now.
Has anyone any advice? Is this a major problem and because of it would the offer have to be redone with my going through the whole affordability process again? Or can they simply change the typo?
Thank you.

Sounds like the Halifax. As long as the address on the mortgage offer is correct then there shouldn't be a problem.0

I agree. I never know what flipping floor the flat is on for a Halifax app and as long as the valuer has the correct address, it makes no difference.I am a mortgage broker. Depends what this error looks like in the solicitor's instructions, but if it's ambiguous as to which flat they're talking about then the solicitor is correct in saying it needs fixed. Hopefully just someone amending the typo and issuing the offer again.0

This is indeed the Halifax - is this a common problem with them then? It's my solicitor that's kicking up a bit of a fuss.0

The address is completely correct so hopefully that means it should be ok. My broker seems to think that if the lender has to reissue the offer, I have to go through the whole approval process again which seems a bit silly!0 -

Where is the floor mentioned then?My broker seems to think that if the lender has to reissue the offer, I have to go through the whole approval process again which seems a bit silly!
Pretty sure I've had them reissue minor amendments very quickly, so hopefully this shouldn't hold things up.0 -
The floor is only mentioned on the very last page of the offer, under "Further Conditions" - and only in conjunction with how long the lease is. It says 'the second floor flat is subject to a lease which has x years still to run' and this is the only mistake. It seems to be a fairly minor issue in my eyes...0

Yes, it is fairly common and has never been a problem with the lender.0
