best epilator?

I am looking for personal recommendations for a new epilator.

I have been using a babyliss one for a few years which is good but seems to be losing effectiveness - maybe the tweezers don't shut as tightly now or something. It is this one - http://www.amazon.co.uk/BaByliss-8784BU-Babyliss-Epilator-Pack/dp/B003Q0MZ9K

I have read lots of reviews of the braun silk epil 7 range and most of them (even the really good ones) say that it doesn't live up to the hype and doesn't remove really short hair. The newest one comes with an exfoliating brush which seems like a total gimmick http://www.boots.com/en/Braun-Silk-epil-7-SkinSpa-7951_1337277/ I think it must be too new to get the breadth of reviews the other models have had.

Any personal recommendations for the holy grail of epilators. I want to be fuzz free quickly and without having to go over areas multiple times and every week. I am not fussed about the pain as I have been epilating for years. Thanks

I've got one of the braun silk epil 7 ones, no fancy exfoliating brush but mine does have a head that also has a razor on it? Which is quite helpful.

The first time round no it won't get all teh short hairs but once you keep using it it seems to get on top of things.

The 'tweezer' cartridge is also replacable. as well as the blade head.

Thanks for the feedback. I don't want a razor attachment as I don't think there is any point in epilating if you have to go and shave anyway. I like the idea of the replaceable cartridge as they do seem to lose effectiveness over time.

Mine too is the Braun silk evil and I think it's fab. The more you use it the better it works, and the finer your hairs seem to grow back. The shaver head comes with it as an extra, I have had other epilators that are no where near as good. Even if you don't want the shaver head I would still recommend this one.

I bought the silk epil 7 yesterday in boots. It had around £45 off so seemed like an ok deal. Used it yesterday and found it almost pain free but think I will need to use it every couple of days to get the best effect until I get the hair growth cycle in check.
