My 6 years is nearly up

Hi All,
Nearly six years ago, (5th June 2008) I declared myself bankrupt.
Back then I had a different username, (InTheBrownStuff) often referred to as ITBS.
There are too many that helped me on here back then to thank individually but good to see some of the old faces are still here.
I have paid the extortionate fee of £15 for my experian report as i already had an account with them so couldnt get the freebie so I will go through this and have a look at what if anything I need to do.
Do all the defaulted accounts just drop off at the same time as the BR or do I need to check they havent registered the default after the BR, in which case do I wait it out or can it be changed to the BR date?

Its been an up and down 6 years as many who have been through it will tell you but happliy im nearing the end of this journey now so can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Thanks again for all the help, past and future.
It touched me the lengths people can go to to help someone they dont even know

Yes you should check your credit reports to see if any entries from your creditors were incorrect (there's lots of posts about this on the forum and a couple up in the stickies) as a lot put the wrong default date, most of mine were within a month or two of my BR date of February 2008 apart from Natwest but that will come off the end of this month and my BRU will come off end of October, so that stays on your file until 6 years is up but i just found a problem with Lloyds as they were still reporting my account as defaulted 4 years after I went BR, so I am now trying to get this corrected otherwise it will be another 4 years till that drops off.
Life is like a game of Snakes & Ladders, i almost made it to the top but now i'm at the bottom again and its a very long ladder to the top. I had it all and now its gone
Well my 6 years are now up, now to start to rebuild my life again
