Take a friend if you can for support and someone to talk to whilst waiting (or take a magazine).

Don't forget to take you money to pay for the BR :)

You would be BR tomorrow if you petitioned tomorrow and it's granted :)

If you go bankrupt before noon, they will generally call you for a 10 minute chat in the afternoon. If you go bankrupt after noon, the next morning. The first chat takes about 10 minutes, if a second interview is required it will be arranged during the 10 minute chat.

The first call is pretty informal and you don't need the paper work to hand, make sure it's available for the second one though :)
  • Thanks for that.

Are you allowed to take children? the answer is probably no but just so i know if to find a babysitter or not?

Each court is different, just give them a call to check.

The court I attended had toys in the waiting area, so unless the court clerk gets bored they were child friendly :D
