Hi all,
hope this is the best place to ask.
Going down to London for the cup final in a week and a bit one of the offers for the train includes a Super Off-peak Day Travelcard will this get me to Wembley? I can't really find any info on what it covers
Cheers

It should cover a return from your origin to London, plus unlimited tube/bus/train/tram travel within zones 1-6. See a map here - Wembley Park station is in zone 4.0

Cheers for that, when it says off peak what time is that on a saturday, no clear answer on the tinterwebs0

Anytime on weekend0

Where is the origin?0

Cheers for all the help, the origin is Hatfield, we are driving down from Derby to stay with some friends and then getting the train in first thing in the morning.0

Any train at the weekend - including return in the early hours of the next morning if need be
Not sure what the 'offer' is but this ticket can normally be bought on the day at the same price0 -

If you group is 3 or 4 ask for a "groupsave" ticket and you only pay for 2 works out at £6.50 p.p. for 4 or £8.60 if there are 3 of you. You can add children for £1 each too. If more you can split the group into the cheapest option, 5 would be 1 group of 4 plus 1 individual, 6 would be 2 groups of 3 etc.
If you do get a groupsave you must all travel together, so no good if some want to go straight back whilst others fancy a drink in London after.
SOUTHERN website is good for giving you the best combo for the total number of tickets needed. Use for reference as Dzug1 says you can pay on the day0 -
Note that GroupSave is changing from 18 May.
There is a thread about it on a forum dedicated to Rail Fares, Ticketing & Routeing. I am not permitted to hyperlink to it (as I'm involved in it), but a Google search for "GroupSave is due to change from 18 May 2014" will find the discussion.
I can link to the T&Cs though: http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/times_fares/pr354fdc0a0400020101fea1769fbf60.aspxPlease note that from 18 May 2014, the Groupsave offer will change and will allow 3-9 people to travel, with a discount of 34% on the adult fare.0 -
