Letter from Solicitor

  • Drysden aren't real solicitors, they somehow get away with using that tag to make it seem like they have more power than the likes of Westcot or Mackenzie Hall.

A friend in London works as a lawyer, he seems to be under the impression that the large majority of the legal world don't recognise companies like Drysden as official solicitors. In fact many seem to think they're nothing more than a glorified self-loving DCA.

I'm not sure when I last paid, I'd give the money to my ex every month to go into town and pay. On the one hand he was a gambling addict who probably stole the money, on the other it was only a quid a month. When I threw him out I asked when he'd last paid it (and other debts) he couldn't remember. So it could well be SB by now.

I can't understand people spending years qualifying as a solicitor then joining a 'firm' like Drysden. Or why people become bailiffs or debt collectors. I guess for a lot it's just that it's a job and better than no job.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

Firms like Drysden are far from a solicitor.

You should probably tell the Law Society and Solicitors Regulation Authority that then, as they have them down as a properly registered law firm with 14 confirmed real qualified and practising solicitors.

Thats what solicitors do. They have people called 'clients' or 'employers' who pay them to work for them. :rotfl:
