Need a loan - Good credit history BUT...

...BUT I also applied for a Credit Card only last month in June (and was accepted). Would a search 'footprint' shown only 4 weeks prior to me applying for a new loan cause the bank/loan provider to decline an application? I have a good credit history, not amazing but never anything negative, it just shows that I have one CC which I've never missed a min repayment on yet. I'm in a situation where I need to get a loan over the next 4 - 8 weeks. Any thoughts? I guess in the end I won't know till I try but then that might damage my credit history... nnrrgh nnrrghh *pulling hair out*

why dont you get a copy of your credit report?
I dont think one search would create a problem as long as the other factors were ok,ie debt to income ratio and current available credit.0 -
