            Hi
I am sorry you feel so stressed, you clearly are trying to do the best by your child which unfortunately his father never had the foresight to do. So give yourself a great big :A for that.
There are aspects of your situation that are very similar to mine - a ray of light that is different though is at least the property has gone so you are clear of him forever - unlike mine, who despite BR for both of us, my ex still continues to make great profit from our former family home by renting it out (this occurred due to a basic mistake by the receiver not to take the rental monies - off him-yet they wanted them from me !!!! What rental money :rotfl:} I have been stuck since 2010 - with no end in sight.
Take the advice re your SOA from others and YOU WILL get through it - stay strong,

I was allowed to keep my car worth c. £1800 - I may have to sell it anyway as it's old and the bills will appear. It costs them to sell a car - they have to collect it then auction it. Given the circumstances, I think you should fight to keep it and I hope they let you -
 Good luck -0
