Son starts FT job. What now?

Options
Son left college last month and has now started FT work as a hairdresser junior. He is getting 105 quid per week. I called CSA to report a change in circumstances but they were very negative etc etc and eventually said they'll ask for a CB report. If the report says pwc is still getting CB then nothing I can do!!!

They advised me to contact DWP.

Apart from this anything I can do? Surely CSA need to investigate the change in circumstances properly. Son is working 32 hours at moment but will go to 40 hours next week when starts college one day a week.
They were straight on phone to me last year when my ex reported an inaccurate change in my circumstances. Son is pushing 18 now and I've been paying this for 14years.

Any advice appreciated. Thanks

You will find many threads on this subject. The short answer is give your info to HMRC who administer child benefit and call the CSA periodically to rechecvk if child benefit is still in payment.
I often use a tablet to post, so sometimes my posts will have random letters inserted, or entirely the wrong word if autocorrect is trying to wind me up. Hopefully you'll still know what I mean.

sounds like he maybe on an apprenticeship on that wage, look into it first, im sure once he's 18 you can stop anyway, oh there will be the moral brigade round soon saying keep paying, but at 18 he's a man.
