Underwriting

Hi all,

can anyone tell me how long the underwriter can take to assess the application?

I'm going through my MA for an application with Accord.

I got my DIP around 2 weeks ago. Yesterday they asked for a bit more documentation, which I provided today.

Will I have gone to the back of the line now, so to speak?

Would also love to know at what stage they will ask questions about our outgoings etc.

I'm worried that I'm slowing the chain down a little! I want to get my survey booked etc.

Thanks in advance!

Accord are a nightmare. Don't be surprised if you are asked to supply a list of your lunches for the past month together with justification for taking £10 out of the cash machine.

You really need to speak to your broker. They should have the answers for you.

Did your broker not question you on your outgoings?

Thanks...Broker had a few questions but nothing too intrusive. I was expecting a lot worse. I'm assuming that is still to come?
