Anyone else had these!! Nestle variety packs have nothing on the outside but when you open them they all have free vouchers on the back. Different values 25p through to £1. I only paid £1.00 I think for the lot and got £1.75 in vouchers haven't opened the others yet.
Worth a try sorry if this is the wrong forum but didn't know where else to put it.

Thank you, great post
It would probably be better on the Discount Codes and Vouchers forum, perhaps a mod will move it.0 -
I don't know how anyone with a conscience can bring themselves to buy Nestlé.Only when the last tree has died
and the last river has been poisoned
and the last fish has been caught
will we realise we cannot eat money0 -

As if there is something drastic then I would like to know!!0 -
Sorry, seashore321 - it wasn't a dig at you, just a long-standing disgust I've held for Nestlé. They have a history of unethical methods of promoting infant formula over breast-milk to poor mothers in third world countries. For example, it supports the distribution of free powdered formula samples to hospitals and maternity wards; after leaving the hospital, the formula is no longer free, but because the supplementation has interfered with lactation the family must continue to buy the formula. Nestlé also uses "humanitarian aid" to create markets, does not label its products in a language appropriate to the country where they are sold, and offers gifts and sponsorship to influence health workers to promote its products.
Then you must bear in mind there are three problems that arise when poor mothers in Third World countries switch to formula.....
First, formula must normally be mixed with water, which is often contaminated in poor countries, leading to disease in vulnerable infants. A non-breastfed child living in disease-ridden and unhygienic conditions is between six and 25 times more likely to die of diarrhoea and four times more likely to die of pheumonia than a breastfed child.
Second, many poor mothers use less formula powder than is necessary, in order to make a container of formula last longer. As a result, some infants receive inadequate nutrition from weak solutions of formula.
Third, breast milk has many natural benefits lacking from formula. Nutrients and antibodies are passed to the baby while hormones are released into the mother's body. Breast-fed babies are protected, in varying degrees, from a number of illnesses, including diarrhoea (spelling?), bacterial meningitis, gastroenteritis, ear infection, and respiratory infection. Breast milk contains the right amount of the nutrients that are essential for brain and nerve development. The bond between baby and mother can be strengthened during breastfeeding. Frequent and exclusive breastfeeding can also delay the return of fertility, which can help women in developing countries to space their births. The World Health Organization recommends that, in the majority of cases, babies should be exclusively breast fed for the first six months.
As a result of this there has been a widespread of Nestlé products since the mid-1970s.
Anyway, enough of my ranting, sorry.

Thank you for this post I think we all need to be advised of any reasons why we should not promote anything that may offend or denegrate what we are trying to do.0

I recommended a few months ago that all nestle products be banned from this forum but it seems lots of people are in favour or dont care about the situation regarding this disgraceful company0
-
I do care and was not aware of the implications as they have been set out here. If I had known I would not have posted knowing it would offend people so I apologise if I have offended anyone.
If you did recommned that these be banned why haven't they?
Please do not assume that people do not care sometimes they need to be made aware!0 -

Not really. I appreciate that not everyone can't do it. My wife was one. My problem is to do with the way Nestlé operate totally unethically in these developing countries.Only when the last tree has died
