Help, Shopping for Girlfriend

Hope someone can shed some light. I am looking for some tops for my partner. She wears leggings alot for comfort and so I am looking to get her some long t-shirts (the kind that cover the backside) Does anyone know if these tops have a certain name or where I can get some from? I am stuck and where I work has a limited number of stores for me to browse. I currently have Newlook, Peacocks and Blue Inc close by...

Thanks

I think they are just called "oversized" tees / t-shirts.

    Try Topshop.

If you've got time to buy by mail order, Lands End has masses of t-shirts and shows the length in the garment description. Best way to get a longer length t-shirt for a woman (unless she's very tall) is just to buy a man's t-shirt. Their 'super T' comes in 16 colours and the regular fit is 28.5" long: http://www.landsend.co.uk/Mens_Short_Sleeve_Super-T%C2%99_Traditional_Fit_/pp/P_9660.html?cgid=Tab_1

Tall version is 30" (fewer colours). Brilliant quality - I've got half a dozen which have gone on for years.

Has she snaffled anything from your wardrobe?
Often a handy clue as to what of yours she likes, but proceed with caution.
Buy yourself a couple of nice T shirts & wait....

Look for 'tunic' style tops. I tend to wear leggings and longer tops but I actually hardly ever wear actual T shirts. The ones with 'handkerchief' hems (shaped and different lengths) are quite nice I think. I like stuff from Next.

I'm probably a bit late, but....OP, I think you might be talking about tops that are usually described as "drop hem" or "dip hem". Both are longer at the back than the front, whereas drop hem can sometimes have a little more fabric in them - like a waterfall effect at the back. Have a look on google images to check :) Otherwise, I'd agree with PlymouthMaid - tunic tops :)
