Has anyone here used those Vileda spray mops? I am tempted as I hate using a bucket and am currently using floor wipes with a flat mop but the floors don't seem as clean and the wipes curl up which can be a pain. However I've priced up spray mops in Wilko, their own brand is €18 and the Vileda is £24 so I'm so wondering if I can just mix my cleaner in an empty spray bottle and use my basic mop, the good thing about the spray mops is you can wash the mop pads and reuse them.

Nope, I do not have one of those fancy pant things.
Downstairs i use a mop and bucket. The J cloth type of mop.
Upstairs in the bathroom I often get on hands and knee's with a micro fibre cloth. The secret to success is making very small, yet constant changes.:)0 -
Hi,
I've used a mop and bucket for years, and this might sound a bit strange but I find that the floors get too wet, even rigning it out tightly (always scared I'm going to break the ringing out bit on the bucket). It's coming into winter here so the floor was taking ages to dry.
I've just picked up a mop with a washable pad for half the price of the one with a spray attachment. I just put the pad into the sink in soapy water, wring it out tightly then do the floor. Could not justify the extra cost for the spray bit at all. Floor is clean and dries quickly.0 -
I think spray mops are ideal for laminate floors, moved house and dont have a mop but all the ground floor is laminate. I have been hoovering but its time to give the floors a good clean so had a look to see what could make my life easier. Was going to get a steam mop but then saw a youtube video using a spray mop and think that might be the best idea for me. It sprays a little of whatever cleaning solution you put in it in front of the mop then you wipe over. No mop and bucket and no hands and knees. I would go around first using it to dust the floor, then clean.
Addis do a spray mop and its cheapest at Asda at £15.

I bought a spare head for it, so one in the wash and one on the mop, so quick and easy. Ive been using zoflora in mine, mixed as the directions on the bottle.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0
