Northern Rail ticket machine, not the best logic, be warned.

Arrived at a NR station today before ticket office opened, but it has a machine.
To get a ticket you choose your destination. As it is a common trip the ticket we wanted was on a shortcut button.
Pressed for return ticket. You are then presented with a screen to choose the number of tickets. I selected 2 adult and 1 child ticket. Below this, as the next step, is the ability to choose a railcard.
Pressed it and a screen with the railcards is shown. Select "family and friends" then it went back to the ticket payment screen.
Pressed OK, paid, but only one adult and one child ticket appeared. Couldn't understand why.
Went through it again and the machine resets the number of tickets you want after you have selected the railcard. Whoever wrote the code can't have trialled it very well because it is not natural to have to go through a stage again after previously confirming the number of tickets required.
