Green People are running a Buy One Get One Free promotion on their SPF15 Day Solution moisturiser until the end of May.

Just in case there is any confusion (there have been comments about the small size of the bottle) - this is not a bottle of sun cream. It is a daily moisturiser containing an SPF. I do not recommend using it on your body unless you are either incredibly small or have lots of money

Green People make fabulous products and everyone should be wearing a day cream with SPF if they want to keep young and beautiful (as all of us MSE'ers are ;) )

Cashback available on TCB and Quidco

For those that like a sun-kissed look, they've also just launched a natural Gradual Tan Moisturiser - not on offer but thought it might be of interest to some

At £15.95, that is far too expensive for the size of bottle IMO, even on BOGOF.

Is it any good? I agree it is far too expensive.

Lidl is doing both day a night creams (50ml) for just 99p each this weekend, there's not much between moisturisers. The SPF on the Lidl day cream is just 4 - very poor sun protection, but not a concern as I use a foundation with SPF on top and stay out of the sun anyway.

  • Thanks OP. We live organically as far as possible and we buy Green People quite a lot - hate having stuff on my/my children's skin that I suspect isn't good for us. This is free of the ingredients that we try to avoid and is cheaper than many SPF products. It's a label I trust so great for me. Thanks!

Cheers OP. Trying to avoid parabans, so this is great for me.

We also love green people, my dd still has a touch of eczema and this is one of the only sun creams that doesn't irritate her skin.
    Thanks op!

It depends on what you want from a moisturiser as to whether you find it expensive. I like top quality ingredients free from parabens, PEGs, colourants, synthetic fragrance etc so I'm willing to pay more. Plus, you need to use far less with natural products than you do with standard high street ones.

I switched to all-natural skin products 6 years ago and it was the best decision I ever made. Lupus gives me painful skin with rashes and redness - only natural cosmetics help with that. I don't put anything on my skin that I wouldn't be happy to eat.

A dab of olive oil would be a great deal cheaper!

That may well be so, but it might be too rich as a moisturiser on it's own.

Its a shame their SPF for children with eczema only goes up to 25 as my suncream always brings my sons eczema out but he also burns really easily so like him to wear SPF 50.
Chocolate always makes me feel better!
