Hi,
Im looking for some advice
I have agreed a mortgage deal that is in place, I have paid the booking fee at £1000.
After the deal was made the surveyor went out, to which they valued the house at £4000 less than the original offer I gave to the seller, they requested reports to be completed however they have been longer than expected I.E. 4 weeks and I still don't have all the reports.
Yesterday I received a phone call saying that they need me to come in, I specifically asked what is the reason but they cannot answer that as they don't know other than its a reduced mortgage amount that can be lent.
They mentioned the new MMR, but I have already paid the £1000 booking fee, and I will be getting the reports soon, I wanted to continue with this? Has anyone else experienced this?

Really appreciate anyones help on this one
