FloFlo I can't think of any books to recommend that aren't ancient/sci-fi related - other than Michael Crichton, Joseph Heller, the Game of Thrones books and books related to utopias/dystopias (love reading versions of how to change the world!).'I solemnly swear that I am up to no good'0

I read Game of Thrones and they were my favourite read in a very long time. I read them about 4 years ago just before the series came out - which isn't a patch on the books.
I'm not usually into that sort of thing but they were fantastic.
I like supernatural possibly slightly horror but definitely not the vampire stuff that has become popular. More Stephen King, Dean Kroontz, Clare McNally etc but I do chicken out of some of the Stephen King if it gets too scary.:o0
