Good afternoon everyone,
I am currently renting in Shropshire whilst looking to buy a house, just wondering if any of the ELITE live near Kidderminster/Wolverhampton/Stourbridge areas and can advise me of the good areas to buy in.
TIA0 -
Had a rummage through the freezer last night to see what I could put with the bacon and make a nice meal with. Found a pack of whoopsied mince so fancied making a meat loaf.
Haven't seen many recipes posted for a while, so thought I'd share an old Slimming World oneI can recommend this, it's lush and I like it as it has a nice few fillers in it
454g Lean mince beef
Handful Button mushrooms cut into quarters
8-10 rashers extra lean bacon (the SP is perfect for this)
½ -1 tsp Mixed herbs
1-2 Cloves garlic, crushed
1 Small onion, finely chopped
1 Level tbsp tomato puree
1 Large egg, beaten
Salt & Pepper to taste
Pre heat oven to 200 C/ Gas 6
1. Dry fry mince, onion, garlic & mushrooms until mince is brown and the onions and mushrooms are soft - drain off any excess liquid.
2. Combine all ingredients together EXCEPT the EGG and mix well, then gradually but thoroughly stir the egg into the meat mixture.
3. Spray a loaf tin with fry light and line with the bacon, then firmly press the mince mixture into the lined tin.
4. Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes.
Serve with vegetables or salad, or save some to have cold for lunch the next day.
Sometimes I double up on the ingredients and make 2 as one just never seems enough :rotfl::happylove Nanny to 2 Cherubs :happylove0 -

Yep, triplets are hard work. They are not identical, I can tell them apart but most people struggle. They are over 5 months now and just coming out of newborn clothes....All doing great. My friend is getting a bit bogged down with stuff so I'm going to help out Fri. House looks like a bombsite has hit it, laundry and clothes are stacked up everywhere (albeit clean and washed ones). I spent half an hour emptying the washer, folding up and pegging out on Monday!! She needs a day of putting away/tidying up but that's easier said than done. So she has me for 4 hours.Tiger
