Just seen on news average London home price is £475000 rest of England £253000

    Scotland £161000

    Big difference !

I'd say Scotland is a great place to get on the property ladder :)

My parents sold their house in Sunderland and bought a property up here out right - took a while to do up - sold - made a handsome profit, bought again. Moving to Scotland meant they didn't have the burden of a mortgage
Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

I have to ask, does anyone actually do the 'tip' thing when cashing out on TCB? Or is it just there to try and make me feel guilty?

No, they already get a £5 fee for supposedly "Premium" service that was once free.

If I were giving it a tip or two, it would be to sort out their non-paying advertisers (get them to pay, or boot them off), sort out their claims system so that "Faster Paying" advertisers are indeed faster paying (and if there is a problem, the investigation should be fast too, not 2-3 months minimum!), and stop saying that they have "exclusive offers" when some are less than Quidco are paying and clearly available elsewhere(!).

I have found I have had to submit claims for an increasing number of transactions that should be straightforward, they are falling out of favour. And finally, their "Fair Play" policy means diddly squat when the advertiser does not pay up for a legitimate transaction that you have proof for!

    Rant over

PS Talking cashback, if anyone has not signed up to Nationwide yet for the 5% account for one year on £2500, Quidco are offering cashback on this at the moment.

It certainly seems more in a persons grasp. How normal workers could afford to rent or buy is incredible.

Sons young friend shares a house with six girls and she is a nursery practioner in London. She coming home to work and get a house with her BF only
