Ok I'm going to ask!

What on earth is a trigger and how do I know it's a trigger? :o

Here we are... I refer the honourable gentleman/lady to the reply I gave some moments ago. (:eek:It was over a week ago, I thought it was only a couple of days ago...time flies...;))

Just seen this on HUKD , don't know if it's been mentioned already.
    Thanks OP !!

Thanks for this, alas I can't take part - once per member. I've just looking at ts&cs on TCB site, you can't participate if you've claimed for fuel before, including the offer they were doing back in Feb 13. Others may be able to take part though

Yes Viv I have done this on many occasions.

There was someone on here, can't remember who, that got a meal deal and a few fruit/veg bits for £8.xx

'Twas I JEL re using Green Redeem for the Marks meal deal. I've snapped my post from a while back, not sure how to do it with the quote thingies, so done it as a pic. HTH

Please remember folks, this is for the meal items which were included in the previous meal deal offer, but may help.

Wise words (most of it!). I agree up to a point - I am less inclined to chase after 1p finds now as I went silly chasing after them and pretty much lost a night :o (post 4am return!) which was a wake up call.

This time I have stocked up on cereal and Dolmio as this is saving money in the long run on items we normally buy a lot of, plenty of shampoo, shower gel, hand wash, Washing up liquid and washing liquid as we will get through it (in time ... ;)) . Switched mainly to fillers that we would buy anyway (Sweetcorn, tuna, soup, banana etc) rather than sweet fillers (unless I am in a rush) as it is easy to lose track of how much you are spending (and I still don't like getting fillers just as fillers - even though we have enough Flumps etc that I use for safety to ensure I don't get too few items). You know when there has been a good glitch not only by the size of the stash but also how full the other cupboards are with fillers.

If I am going I tend to buy 4 shops at a time (one trolley) to save time, but also don't forget the cost of petrol to factor in! If it works out free I may get more :).

And every so often I pull back if it is taking up too much of my time (or if Mrs Anon says we have "enough" ... though that is no longer guaranteed to stop me!).

    HTH

I went for the thorntons toffees and that was it, costs too much in petrol and time for me in the hope that I find some.
But anything that does not have a use by date and we use :j:j
I tend to get most of my stock :D RTC when changing pack sizes I don't mind paying 25% with no hassle fillers and multiple shops to contend with.

Not to feel like the poor scottish cousin, we dont have a welly room or wellies. Why would I need them ? I know it rains here everyday but not to welly level.

I don't own wellies either - they give me blisters. And I don't get fashionable wellies worn about town either :o It's just wrong.

Thanks for the link to the Tayside photographer - stunning and inspiring :)
