Can I pick someone's brains....our Sky zapper has gone to the big zapper graveyard in the sky but a spare one we've found doesn't work....do they have to be programmed in or something?

    to test a zapper.

get both of the zappers and look at the end that transmits the signal THROUGH A CAMERA SCREEN. (phone is ok). then press various buttons. if they are working you will see a flashing light not visible to the eye normally.
this will help determine where fault is.

this action saves a lot of wasted time when buying faulty things. as manufactures always blame the zappers 1st. but this action tells them wether its the zapper or not.

ps don't forget to make sure they got batteries in lol

Another interesting thing you dont normally see (it is related, well to me anyway) is those self seal envelopes. If you open them in the dark, when you are pulling the 2 glued edges apart, they give off a blue neon sort of light.
(oh, and polo's give a small spark when you snap them in half :) )

Morning everyone :). Fantastic weather :j

Big thanks to whoever spotted the glade love candle and wonka choc cc/HD mismatch. Not things I would usually notice but lovely treats for hampers and profitable - and a fab way to get a cc shop without having to spend any way near £25

Could you  so that I can thank you in person as have gone a bit back and can't spot the ops :o

It matters if A.com is showing £1 and it is actually 50p instore when doing a CC or HD, as the APG is based on the price of the order, not the picked price instore (hence all these people using this to their advantage in the past with Dove and washing stuff and recently the Wonka and Candles for CC).

I didn't see this response earlier - that makes sense to me now (I get these things eventually lol). Thanks Anon :D

This, absolutely yes. A rare thing in the UK. Love how you look forward to and enjoy your weekends there :)
