Goodnight all - my APGs are locked in and printed so they can't catch me out early doors if the Cheerios reappear on MSM/the APG

It matters if A.com is showing £1 and it is actually 50p instore when doing a CC or HD, as the APG is based on the price of the order, not the picked price instore (hence all these people using this to their advantage in the past with Dove and washing stuff and recently the Wonka and Candles for CC).

Be very careful folks - they can reel you in especially on topics like cancer that are very close to most peeps hearts.
I have people that come round and leave clothes collections outside the door or continually push in packaging bumf. There are a few con-people in that area too. I'm sorry - I don't give clothes out at the door, I give to charity and I go to charity shops but unfortunately I cannot know who you are or be able to check out your credentials.
Tha packets various different ones push through the door do become a nuisance - sadly there is someone in this household who always brings them in, like a cat bringing in rubbish from outside:(, despite numerous requests not to do so they still do so and ignore me!! Grrr:rotfl::rotfl:. I did think, in one of my eccentric moments (haha:D) of putting up a notice informing any charity collectors, etc., that if they did leave any packaging material, plastic papers, etc., that I make a storage charge of £500 per day (or multiply by factor of 100 or as much as you like, be as exhorbitant as you wish as they have agreed to it by their action of posting anything through the door).
Maybe I ought to do the 'legal notice' thing but even without it, they never return to collect any stuff anyway and they just pile up! I felt that a notice like that would be too harsh though, esp. if they were genuine collectors but, having had no visits to collect again on the following Wednesday or Friday or whatever day they say, I have the heart to throw the darned lot out!! Fortunately for various reasons the problem isn't as bad as it was, but even so I have a 'policy' never to give clothes or any stuff at the door as you never know who you are giving them to - there are just too many con-people about sadly and I go to charity shops if I wish to do that and I then know it is benefitting a good cause.0 -

Afternoon all
Need some help with MSM?
Until recently when I hovered the cursor over items it gave you the price in the store plus the competitors price without clicking on the item
Now I have to click on an item to get the comparison
is it the same for anyone else ?
Thanks for prompting me, as this was what I was going to post about earlier (during the period when I said I was tired). I have noticed that a number of changes have been made on msm, every single one of them making everything I do more long-winded as "improvements" to computer systems always make them much worse than they were before. (If it ain't broken...) I won't go into every change but, one, for example, the expiry dates of offers were sometimes useful information for us - but they have been removed, so that we now have to spend more time by going onto the shop's own grocery sites to get that information.
Did anyone ever think that I might want time to adjust to changes, especially sudden and unannounced ones like these? And might a reasonable adjustment have been to use the user database to contact all registered users by email and inform them that changes were going to be made and what the changes were to be? Does anyone ever consider any minor issues like this perhaps?:rotfl: I merely wonder, and maybe I make indirect reference to one of my previous posts in this regard!
Perhaps though it might have also had the helpful 'side-effect' of providing information to everyone registered on the site about the changes that were to be made?!? It is only fortunate that I haven't reacted too badly to this, although I'm sorry folks it does make it very difficult now to do the lists I've previously been doing.
And that's after they divided those, without warning, a few months ago into separate numbered parts of no more than 200 items each - in response I reorganised each list into three to ten separate saved lists, but now, with these latest changes, I can't simply add each item into the appropriate part - instead have to add everything to the basket, putting it all into the different parts and then going through each one to delete off the other parts' items. I think that would be the least time-consuming extremely long-winded way. That's only one of the now even more time-consuming methods that has now to be used.0 -

Yes it is isn't it (potentially at least)? Shall I start the potential Equality Act action? (In order to find out if it was legally compliant or not.):rotfl::rotfl:
Sorry folks - I've dealt with so many intransigent businesses in the past (and msm is not one of these) that I automatically think of going to law now as default first option.0 -

You need to take into account any additional costs when you decide what to charge. Perhaps a few apples, a cucumber, a few strawbs, lemonade etc and you can decide what you should charge.
My thinking is £9 for the Pimms, £2 for lemonade, £1 for apples, £0.50 for cucumber, £0.50 for mint and £2 for strawbs. Total cost is £15 and if you sell for £1 per glass I reckon it will sell like hotcakes and you will easily make a profit of £25 per bottle.
Regardless, good luck and I hope you go for it and make as much cash as you can..:)
I think that Pimms sold in a pub uses a double measure, i.e. 50 mls, which means you'd only get 20 glasses from a 1 litre bottle.

Remember the poster also has to cover the cost of the licence plus glasses/plastic cups and ice (unless they happen to have loads of ice trays already and don't include the cost of freezing).
Personally, I'd expect to pay at least £2 for a glass of Pimms at a school function and there was a discussion on Mumsnet in 2011 suggesting prices between £2 - £3.50 per glass.

Finally, I agree with SFSB - best of luck and hope you make lots of money for the school.“A journey is best measured in friends, not in miles.”
