Good evening, I hope you are all enjoying the weather. I am in the process of organising the school fair and would really like your opinion please. We are thinking of serving pimms. What would you pay for half a pint glass please. We seem to have a big discrepancy and would love some opinions please
Hi, just jumpin in... Have you worked out how many drinks you'd get out of a bottle? That may be a good place to start then you can add a bit of profit on top... You don't want to loose out by the drinks not covering the cost of the ingredients in the first place..
Just a thought:) hth

I seem to remember that it's illegal to sell alcohol without a license including at school fetes etc. You can buy a 1-day license iirc, or you could give it away with a "suggested donation of £x". A few years ago when my ds's school was thinking about doing it I'm sure I read some threads on the subject on mumsnet where others had used raffle tickets and other ideas so that they weren't technically selling it.
It's only a game

I think you might be asking the wrong people, my first reaction would be can I find a voucher for that :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
As someone else said, you need to work out how much you are spending in the first place, how much the ingredients such as the Pimms, lemonade and fruit will cost, factor in the cost of the glasses too, and work out how much you can put on top. Probably a good place to start is to find someone with Pimms on the menu and find out how much they charge. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0
