Sorry tweets, I tan at the slightest glimpse of the sun. But I still use sun tan lotion when there is a risk of burning. I cringe when I think of all the times my mother covered me in sun tan oil to encourage my skin to burn then tan  These days it is all about staying pale and interesting, and especially about avoiding getting burned (I have never burned in my life since it has been in my control!!)

    Good morning everyone.

Done another 10k run last night, in preparation for Race for Life in 3 weeks time, my legs are hurting this morning though, probably overdone it this week.

My 11 year old son, registered last night aswell, and has decided to do it with me, bless him.

Good morning all - sun protection definitely applied here as I am very pale and burn at the slightest hint of sun :)

Any other cool pale skin tones on here? If so looking for recommendations for make-up. Most ranges their lightest shades nearly all have a yellow base which just doesn't look right - hopefully one day I will find the perfect match!

wise advice nannylala- forget all the posh creams on the market factor 30 sun cream is the only suncream a lady needs in her makeup bag.Boys don't forget the suncream either - not macho I know to use it. The ears and the nose are burny bits :(

I met a taxi driver once whose skin cancer started on his arm - resting it on door out window ya see. Know two people who lost their lives to it:( Better to be pale and interesting or invest in some of those fake tans that were posted a while back.

My dad had skin cancer removed from his ear last year. :(
