Im slowly going mad:mad::mad: 3 weeks ago hubby was told he had bad cataracts , on monday as we had not heard anything i rang the hospital, they said they hadnt had the referral , so i rang optician they couldnt do anything until this sunday when that particular optician was in, so rang the doctors, doctor says he sent the referral 29th APRIL! but would send again, so come today still not heard anything ring the hospital they say still not recieved, rang doctors back she said was sent Monday but will send again!
Hospital told me to ring back, so just rang back Hospital still not received it:mad::mad:
So she just rang optician and had a fit at them and now she is ringing doctors and going to ring back!
Is it me or is 3 weeks not acceptable for this? as the lady from the hospital said you usually hear on 2-3 days!
Sorry for rant but needed to vent:o
The same happened to my mother. Boots gave her a referral letter and I hand delivered it to the reception of our GP. They claimed they never got it. Did the same again, got another referral letter and hand delieved to the GP this time who claimed that I never gave to him, after giving me the run around. Was pretty annoyed at this point so Boots sent it directly this time. All in all took 14 months to get an appointment  not a fan of my GP, we were lumbered onto them when our GP retired and not only have they lost all our notes, they're making it very difficult for us to change doctors.'I solemnly swear that I am up to no good'0 -

Yay, I'm on my lappy again!! Thanks David, it was the lead. Got a new one for £10.
Pleased you are back online for not too much.
Maybe time to get a new battery as well - it might be the case that running it permanently on charger alone, without a battery, has burnt out the charger ?0 -

They found out she has age related macular degeneration. Meanwhile they told her she couldn't drive and now she's allowed to drive she's too scared to. Whilst I enjoy pretty much having free reign of her car it means I chauffeur her about a lot more and she stays in a lot more, does not make for a happy house. Back to the point hope you hear something soon buns and pursue the crap out of them until they give you an appointment
Edit: autocorrect changed 'bubbs' to 'buns'. I'm leaving it there :rotfl:'I solemnly swear that I am up to no good'0 -

Just got my Mum to Be Bounty packs emailed to me, might be of note that if you sign up to Bounty you can get additional packs by filling in different details meaning you can get a couple of extra packs by saying you never got your first pack you should've got from the midwife at 12 weeks. Obviously don't take the P!!S but it's always worth having. Also go to SADA as you get "Bonus" items that you don't get in any other stores.

Use it wiselyIf only batman was here, he'd soon get you told0
