    Good morning all...

Was woken up by the sun streaming through the windows...I perhaps should have closed the curtains last night, but it was refeshing to see a lovely golden glow even if it was a hour earlier than I'd normally get up.

DS1 has 2 chemistry papers this morning,he's woken up quite cheerful too...his favourite subject and the one he hopes to do well in.
Had a quick read back...Nanny,sad news in your family but I hope that together you can be strong.
Have lovely hollibobs...all those going or preparing
and hugs and postitive thoughts to anyone who would benefit from them them.

    Morning.
My ds had chemistry and I've had a text from him to say it went well:) He has taken 3 before today and didn't text me about them so I'm quite pleased today.
Another thing I've managed to get in Farmfoods for 2nd time in a year. I always see great bargains posted but as some of you know I struggle to get out. Anyway I'm doing exposure response therapy and going in the shop was part of my treatment. Some bits of it I didn't go as far as I should have but in other ways I did more than was expected. Really pleased as I got myself a couple of bargains too. Small steps:o

    Good morning all

    Firstly I have 2 problems.

Eldest child needs a basic tennis racquet - she is very short of cash (as usual). Please can someone suggest where to look?

She has booked some of the free tennis sessions (as per the MSE weekly newsletter) assuming that her tennis racquet is still here. She actually left home 8 years ago so why she thought it was still here I don't know.

2nd problem is Sainsburys have sent me a set of three conditional spends - £4 wys £20 :j
    - I had a serious trouting in April so I've been avoiding the place more or less since apart from odd £1 shops to see if I could get any till spits - not a single one now for weeks and weeks  - another reason to boycott the place

So these are only for £20 spends over 3 weeks and I need to use one today as I wont be near sainsbobs for weeks - if I use all three MOCS I also get an extra 500 points (a magnificent £2.50 worth :T )

So what to spend £20 on - ideally to get a BM - I cant think of a single thing that we need.

    Any suggestions?

glad its gone well for your DS....it makes it so much easier on us when they seem less stressed about it all.

Mine was doing unit 2 &3 and according to timetable he's just about to finish unit 3 at 11am
He loves chemistry and will be gutted with anything less than a A*...and sometimes its the managing of expectations that we find quite difficult as he really is a perfectionist and anything less is no good.
....that reminds me he needs picking up from school at 1 today as he doesnt have an exam this afternoon.
frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

    2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend
