Changed my bird feeder arrangement yesterday, got one of those metal poles with the hooks on and a couple of bowls on it. Had some stale bread so thought I would pop that in a bowl. Previously when I have thrown bread out onto the lawn it has been ignored for days. Put it in the bowl, pop down Lidl, couldn't have been more than 20 minutes, come back and the entire round of bread has disappeared. I think we have fussy pigeons :eek: I did see a wren on the patio eating a small bit when I got back so the littlies did get some. Seeds, nuts and suet balls are disappearing rapidly too
I had a friend with this problem. What she ended up doing was painting the bottom half of the bedroom wall with blackboard paint and explaining to her daughter that that she could draw on that wall but not the others. As for getting it off the wall I really do not know I'm afraid, but if it was me I would try one of the magic erasers you can get.
Thanks for this. I am not going down the blackboard paint route though. I've got a 2 month old as well as the 2 year old so I'm hoping it will never even cross the littlest ones mind to draw on a wall!! Ill try and find a magic eraser. Anyone know if As sell them? My walls are a lovely sunny yellow and he used a dark green crayon  I have managed not to throttle him just yet though. Gotta love the terrible twos :rotfl:0 -

Thankyou Sarah in a way we all have a cross to bare but it is so lovely to get comforting posts from the Elite and truly helps at times like this:A0 -

Try an eraser (I was going to say rubber but thought better of it)
Failing that maybe hairspray or WD40
Lol. Should have used a rubber in the first place :rotfl:Hairspray? Directly on to the wall? I have got some hairspray so could try that.0 -
Can anyone help identify this piece of classical music...
It goes
De De De De drrrrrrr de-de
De De De De drrrrrrr de-de
Di duh da do, duh di di duh de do
It's a really famous piece, DS keeps playing the demo of it on his little keyboard
It's quite staccato-ish, a bit plinky plonky (I'm sure the composer would be thrilled to read that)
Image-wise I kind of liken it to a little mouse taking little steps then looking around to see if anyone's watching
I think I may have lost the plot0 -

I've never tried it myself but I think you spray it on an leave it for a bit - the hairspray is supposed to break down the crayon0 -

I know Wilko's sell the magic erasers, but thinking about it there is a chance it could end up fetching the paint off too/ The hairspray might be a good route to take, I have heard this one too, and you wouldn't have to rub it as hard. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
