thanks oh got back to tell me he had told the tester it was going straight to the scrap yard and to have a look what was on ebay :(
we had tea and i put the laptop on ebay and handed it to him and he says what do I want that for I have a perfectly good old heap, little beep it had passed:T:T not bad considering we got it 5 years ago for £300 when we desperatly needed a cheap vehicle it was sold for spares but we have used it ever since all oh did for the test was a wiper and a bulb:j:j:j

You have the patience of a saint - I would be assaulting my OH around the head with the laptop by now if he had played this trick on me :rotfl:

Nope. Phone. :( I need someone to look at lappy. Can't afford to take it to a shop until next week.

Must be catching, I took OHs car out today and something is up with it. Every time I slowed down at a junction it just cut out on me and the steering went. It was fun trying to park

Oh no :( that doesn't sound like fun. I got the fright of my life when the steering went on me before, it was like trying to steer a tank!

Oh its great there but well expensive. Saying that if you go out of school holidays and a few couples splitting the cost it would be bearable :D

we have been a few times just after Christmas and its been slightly cheaper. They also have a late availability section now but I don't think its that much cheaper - but excellent if you can only think a few weeks ahead or you can go mid week.
