Good afternoon :) just popped in for a very quick catchup as have been out all day and was very sad to hear about Stephen Sutton :Asuch a young age to die and a very brave young man.Seeing things like this make you think that life is so special and sometimes far too short for some and we really should all make the most of what we have got and embrace our friends and Families as who knows what the future holds for any of us.Off out again to have dinner with my lovely friend who also lost her Son last year :A

bless you nanny so well said, so very sad to hear of Stephens passing :( but he has left an amazing legacy.

Someone mentioned Sunshinemummy and Thick Tom earlier. Two regular posters who seem to have gone 'missing in action'. I really do hope you are both well and that you will come back soon. Sunshinemummy, you used to post more than anyone and you were always so cheery and kind to everyone. Tom, you used to make me laugh out loud with your humourous posts. Please come back soon both of you and make the thread a better place.

not sure about ssm but think Tom just needed some time out for rl think he was on here a lot he also made me laugh a lot.
he has been in touch with a few of us since going mia and is fine

    Best laid plans...:(

No sooner having mentioned the 2 for £1.50 cakes 'offer' and suggested it as fillers vs T (to go N/A), it looks like that offer was too good and it may be about to end. My A store had the full price SELs back on them today - although two I bought did go through at 2 for £1.50.

:idea:A-ha!! They are still showing 2 for £1.50 on msm but maybe wait till very late in the day tonight and then pay 2 for £1.50 but have them compare full price vs £1 each elsewhere? (Selected ones.)

Tempting me now - to do another full 8-item shop:( later, instead of just killing an APG on another 2 for £1.50. Of course this could all be yet another glitch in the making that never was.
