I hope people from FB who are coming back are not going to cause friction on here. I do find it amusing that people disappear from here for months and months and then reappear and are treated like the prodigal son. The FB group is closed because they obviously like to keep all the deals for themselves. I did join for a very short while but was locked out because I would not reveal my MSE name. Quite what that had to do with anything I don't know but c'est la vie.

Also I do find it highly amusing all the hype re setting up a new thread and how only the chosen few are appointed. From what I can see not much of a task copying and pasting the 1st post and thinking of a title. Then we have to have all the thanking posts. I have been a member OF mse since 2006 and joined the Tesco thread in Feb 2011. Anyway I am working now so don't have much time to spend on here now so think I will just lurk but not post.

i do not know nothing about fb and have kept out of it all, but just wanted to say when old posters come back for what ever reason they are away is it like an old friend returning, so of cause we are pleased to see them

with regard starting a new thread, often people that have found a good glitch that we have all benefitted from are asked if they would like the honours or people that have helped others a lot its never the chosen few. sometimes people volunteer or want to do it for a specific reason like the thread for mad.

and please dont stop posting i like to read your storys and would miss you, and if you do go when you come back we will all greet you like an old friend to:D
I'm with the pair of you and I do not understand the need for any other groups other than this one right here.:)

Given all the comments about fb groups doing this and fb groups doing that, there are obviously hidden agendas all over the place. However, I am a simple chap (although very intelligent) and I am quite happy to save a bit of cash with what I find out on here and take great pleasure in spelling out glitches in layman's terms so that many, many others can take advantage.

To quote mimi, I wish the troublemakers would just fork off and leave us to it.

What I do find hilarious is the fact that there are several caveman types on here that keep puffing out their chests trying to prove that they are the alpha male of the group.. FGS, this is a thread about saving money in supermarkets, who cares who the alpha male is??

Anyway, sorry for the mini rant, my DW is the alpha male in my house so I am off to bed..:o
