So I tried the baby food glitch thing and had mixed success. Got APG for £2.60 as would have been cheaper at M.

    1 x AS Self Raising Flour (1.5Kg) £0.45 £0.45
    1 x A Paracetamol 500mg Caplets (16) £0.19 £0.23
    1 x Pepsi Max (2L) £1.00 £0.99
1 x Hipp Organic Breakfast Layer Strawberry Cereal Top... £0.50 £0.89
    10 x Hipp Organic Rice Pudding with Apple & Pear 7mth+ ... £8.90 £6.00
    1 x Hipp Organic Mango & Banana Melba 4mth+ (125g) £0.50 £0.78
    10 x Hipp Organic Apple & Blueberry Dessert 4mth+ (125g... £5.00 £7.80
    1 x Jacob's Oddities Baked - Cheese (5x25g) £1.00 £0.79
    2 x Candyland Flumps Mallow Twists (12g) £0.20 £0.20
    2 x A Organic Carrots (750g) £1.80 £2.14
    1 x A Chosen by You Vegetable Stock Cubes (12x10g) £0.40 N/A

Comparison total (compared products only) £19.54 £20.27

I am slightly confused tbh as the one that came up on offer at £5 were the ones that are £5 for 12 in T, so that actually makes them more expensive in A. But hey ho, I'm getting there!

I did have a very interesting experience though as I went through the checkout and despite informing the till lady I had 11 + 1 she scanned 12. I went to CS to sort it out as I didn't think it'd work and they ended up refunding whole shop and rescanning. But when they refunded I got £25 back as they refunded full amount. I did point it out to her but she said there was nothing she could do anyway so all in all I did well from this glitch even if I got a little confused!

Hope it helps someone. And thanks to those who posted, think I thanked your posts but if not, sorry!

:mad::mad: Why can't people follow or comply with simple instructions or requests?!? (Grr!:(:rotfl::rotfl:)

I had one silly SA fail to scan an item through, a significant, important, vital trigger:mad: - went to CS (I know - I should have walked out of the store but couldn't bring myself technically to shop-lift:(), didn't want to blow the gaff - they wanted just to refund the one item and put it through on the mbuy with the other. No, no, no!!:( I wanted the entire shop to be cancelled - these people really do not appreciate the real and significant difference it makes as need 8 items for APG etc. My luck though they'd say there was nothing they could do to rectify the matter. I'm glad yours (unless I've mis-read your post:o) said there was nothing they could do to rectify an over-payment so you got it better anyway!!:T I just had the full lot cancelled, for some inexplicable reason of my own, then scarpered as quickly as I could without any shopping:(. The whole thing ruined after that!:rotfl:

As some (or even many?) of you know, I have additional problems of social interaction when trying to deal with CSs, or even with SAs sometimes. (I can hear the violins playing:rotfl: - nah, don't worry folks - not seeking the sympathy:D.) I still manage fairly well (in my view).
