Afternoon, just wondered if anyone had tried the Finest meal deal recently and knew if anything was comparing favourably? I've had a look and it doesn't seem as though any of the wines will but I'm hoping that someone will tell me otherwise!
    Thank you.

Thank you to everyone whose advice has helped me in my desperate quest to make ends meet. x

EDIT-Back on the quest, I've been away too long!

That's a good comparison... Is it a pre packed one? Please and Thankyou. I don't eat beef but mr monkeys does...thanks :)

Yes, its the little beef joint that somebody mentioned last night (sorry - not sure who it was !)

Its labelled Butchers Selection Small Beef Joint and is on a black tray with shrink wrap over the top. They all weigh 500g (so are fine for 2 0r 3 good servings and maybe a sandwich or two.
    Barcode 454451.

Be careful cos on the shelf below were some slightly bigger joints that looked similar but were labelled as topside etc. They were variable weights and prices but easy to pick up the wrong ones.

careful re: the clover as it ends today. Better to buy 1 (£2.80 v £1.15) instead of 2 as M'buy kicks in.

Yes, but you pay less for 2 and can use 2 coupons so still works out at around 50p per pack. I did buy just 1 to start with but then decided it was only one lot of fillers for 2 packs and about the same price.

A good price for beef at the moment but not a great price so don't all rush out to grab some.

The beef compares to £6 per kilo in T and the joints are tiny, however in A the larger joints of the same silverside are all already £6 per kilo, so all you are saving is the 10%.

Might be worth just paying the straight £6 and not having to add fillers?:)

I'm sure you are right - but I have a wodge of APG's that I need to recycle plus some gift cards for overcharges. I didn't spend any 'real money' on my shop.

My sister just sent me this:rotfl::rotfl:

Like I wasn't feeling crap enough ! A turd is found floating in the pool all of the kids are evacuated and it turns out to be the little boy next to us who flicks his shorts off and !!!! flies everywhere! It's all over him and all over the floor! I can't stop reaching run to the loo which is covered in bright yellow pee -more reaching. I then decide to make a fast exit will billy and just wrap his coat round him and run - what a nightmare!!

She not happy and all I can do is laugh:rotfl::T:T
