Has anybody seen an actifry or similar device for sale at a decent price? I quite fancy one, and have done for a while, the steak has made me realise I still haven't invested .

I should have taken my mums when she offered it to me :(

    Thank you ;)
I had one of these http://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/household-appliances/small-kitchen-appliances/small-cooking-appliances/fryers/breville-halo-health-fryer-white-12424925-pdt.html?gclid=CLW8wc7Apr4CFdMftAoduj0A7w&srcid=198&cmpid=ppc~gg~~~Exact&mc!!!!!gg_goog_7904&s_kwcid=AL!3391!3!30420925764!!!g!64556302404!&ef_id=U2-4sgAABbKWq3nU:20140512133645:s great for chips but then after a few weeks paddle started sticking and I had read loads of reviews saying how big the chips should be and to make sure they had a coating of oil etc and had followed that so eased the paddle up slightly worked ok for about another month or two and then paddle stopped working altogether. Googled that and seems it is a common fault so took it back. Also realised they are big and that we only used it about once a week so never replaced it .
So my advice steer clear of this one ;)

I'm sure there was a Breville one half price in Tosco, we have the Actifry which is great and the Air fryer which always seems like too much hard work, not got the Breville one yet though
