We will need some willing volunteers though, to try out our social skills on. ;) :rotfl:

I wonder if we could tie it in with glitchy trips to As. There's plenty of trouts there who need help with 'social skills' :rotfl:

Westie and were on holiday recently staying in hostels. One guy woke me up 3 times during the night because of my snoring. In the end he stormed out and we never saw him again. :)
I always get put in same room as my mum when we go away as I cant hear her snoring :o
my 2 sisters still complain about her snoring even if they are in next door but one room :rotfl:

Morning all, another very wet one.

Wow tweets, have just seen how many thanks you got on your thread opener (132) - just shows how popular you are :T :T :T

Bubbs, glad you are recovering okay from your op.

Many years ago I had problem with my hand/wrist which resulted in 4 months off work. It still bothers me from time to time but I really struggled opening tins, chopping carrots, etc. I am not a big gadget person, but I bought an electric can opener and it really helped. Unfortunately I have yet to find one that lasts. I have gone through loads of them, expensive ones to el-cheapo tosco ones, they seem to die shortly after the warranty has expired.

Has anyone got any brand recommendations or has had one that has lasted a few years that is still okay please? Thanks.

Can opener. I have a Kenwood one which has lasted quite a few years though I don't use it daily. If I were to replace it, I would look for one which goes in the dishwasher...
