Restating mortgage process with Halifax after santander farce

Halifax was superquick and easy for me. Less than 7 days (of which 3 were a bank holiday weekend!) between application and offer.

Just after other people experiences really - how long after the valuation did you have to wait until you got your offer? Was that with Halifax, and was it post MMR?

I had a call from my Halifax Mortgage Advisor the following day after the valuation/survey to say it had been agreed and the full report would be in the post/online in 2 working days... Downloaded my homebuyers report, and raised a few questions last week with the EA (still not heard back). But have been told that my offer is in the post, so will probably get it early next week....
