PCN from Liverpool John Lennon

Hi everyone, pretty new to this. I have done a lot of research over the last few months on this topic but I'm still a bit worried about ignoring it. I received a PCN from Liverpool airport back in Feb, the incident was 5 months previous so it was a shock when I got it!! Basically my girlfriend and her daughter needed picking up at the airport, I drove into the short stay car park and realised I had a missed call off her, I phoned back and she had already started walking up the road leading into the airport. I quickly left the car park well within the 4 minutes and went back up the main road, I saw her, pulled over for 13 seconds (which is shown in the pictures). I have recently been back and looked and it was on a double red line which I didn't see as it was dark and half 9 at night. there wasn't a car to be seen and I had in no way obstructed or caused any danger. since then I have had one more letter stating that it had gone up to £100 and today I got one off a debt collection company saying it was handed over and raised to £136. I really don't want to pay these b***ards anything and I'm happy to go to court. I just want to know if its ok to ignore until I get a court case one day (if they take it that far) and what my chances of losing are? is it possible to get a bad credit history from any of this?

same reply as in this one https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4967531
if it went to court and you lost , you would be ordered to pay a figure within so many days (say 28 days) , if you didnt pay then it would become a CCJ and affect your credit rating
nobody can tell you if you will win or lose in court , too many factors and different judges to know what any outcome will be0 -
Thanks for you help, would you recommend carry on ignoring? or is it too late to do anything now anyway?0

I would ignore debt collectors and their letters as they cannot do anything at all
might be an idea to send VCS the template letter from the newbies thread, in writing , with free certificate of posting at the post office
keep copies of this, that way in future you can show you did get in touch with them to appeal, even though its late
then await an LBC or court papers over the next 5.5 years0 -

Amend your first post by editing anything about who the driver was because the keeper has no liability. Don't go appealing or saying who was driving of course!
EDIT - REMOVED REFERENCE TO THE WRONG PPC!
P.S. Same as this thread, it's Groundhog Day again on this forum, same stuff every day:

A good first step on any forum is to search an unusual word to find all the other threads already here...e.g. the name of the debt collector or the main word from their name - such as 'Recovery' or 'Rossendales' or 'Newlyn' as your keyword using the 'search this forum' heading next to forum tools about the top sticky threads.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
