    I take it you are enquiring with regards new MMR, London & Country application for Abbey/Santander mortgage was done over the phone March 15th 2014.

    We had ours in the bank face to face and it took about 2 hrs but that included the full application for the mortgage.


    Basically wanted to see 3 months bank statements before hand and then she asked questions of if agreed with regular payments from this i.e. sky tv, mobile phone etc as well as asking about obvious credit cards, water and energy bills. No stupid questions about pet food etc and basically took our word for it but obviously no point not telling truth from a budget/ repayment point.
