Being chased for cc debt while bankrupt

Hi,

I was declared bankrupt in October 13. One of the debts outlined on my BR Form was for an MBNA Credit card with a balance of £703. I've just gotten a letter from them saying they've sold the debt onto a company called Aktiv Kapital UK Ltd. There was also a letter from Aktiv saying I must make payment to them and not MBNA.

There is a telephone number on the letter to contact them, but I don't want to if I don't have to.

Can they chase me for this money if it's included in the Bankruptcy? Should I ignore it or am I going to end up with bailiffs on the doorstep?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Pass both letters onto your OR for them to deal with.

Just to clarify, even if the debt wasn't specified in your bankruptcy application it would still be covered by your bankruptcy.

If you have a copy of your bankruptcy notice still, just send it to them if they then ignore you pass it to the OR.

Even if the bailiffs did turn up, they couldn't do anything once you've shown your bankruptcy papers.
