Individual thank you wedding photo cards

Hi guys!
So I got married on Saturday and being on a roll with getting stuff done (dress, shrug, table numbers, cake stands and shoes already listed to sell), I'm looking for somewhere good to buy thank you cards.
Because we had such an excellent attentive photographer, I'd like to make the most of it and get individual photo cards made, i.e. a card per person/couple with a different photo on each. I'm struggling to see where I can get that done for less than about £2.50 each and as we have about 60 cards to send, that will quickly build up!
Another option is to just get a standard card and put a print of the desired photo inside, but I'd prefer just the card.
Thanks in advance for your input!

Might it be cheaper to look for cards that you can do a photo insert (something along the lines of this http://www.colemans-online.co.uk/6x8-photo-fit-aperture-cards-300gsm-white-4pk.html - not a particularly MSE price for these, but just to show you what I mean... here's a more MSE version http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B002EIDTKE/ref=pd_lpo_sbs_dp_ss_1?pf_rd_p=479289247&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B00HLM56KE&pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_r=17PG4DQG3W74MKQRVF6J) and then get your photos printed cheaply (photobox do 5p per print I think). It would involve a bit of DIY, but could keep your costs down
Alternatively, photobox do them for £1.50 a card http://www.photobox.co.uk/filters/cards/details?product_filter_id=10045374217051979738600055880155870thankyou&id_index=1 cheaper than your original £2.50 - but still a bit pricy in my mind
Apologies for the horrific number of links in thatOfficially saved enough to cover the cost of our wedding! :A0 -
We printed them ourselves, each person got a card with a photo of us and the guest on, we could print 6 per A4 piece of card and so it was quite cost effective.Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....0

I did think about that, but our printer is really rubbish unfortunately. Did you make yours like postcards or folded traditional cards?0

I'm fully jumping the gun because I've not got the photos back yet - there might not be enough appropriate ones to go for one per household, but if there are we could go for individual prints in a blank card because £1.50 was the cheapest I eventually found too and that's still going to be just shy of £100 for something which will probably end up in the recycling.Might it be cheaper to look for cards that you can do a photo insert (something along the lines of this http://www.colemans-online.co.uk/6x8-photo-fit-aperture-cards-300gsm-white-4pk.html - not a particularly MSE price for these, but just to show you what I mean... here's a more MSE version http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B002EIDTKE/ref=pd_lpo_sbs_dp_ss_1?pf_rd_p=479289247&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B00HLM56KE&pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_r=17PG4DQG3W74MKQRVF6J) and then get your photos printed cheaply (photobox do 5p per print I think). We did ours on Vista Print - uploaded a photo and had thank you cards made... it was about £30 for 50, from memory? They are really nice and everyone was impressed0

If it's going to be £100 ish to get them printed, why not upgrade your printer? I think the most expensive printer I've ever had was about £65 and they've always been capable of printing good quality photos on photo paper, definitely good enough for cards or framing. A couple of packs of Staples A4 matt photo paper (£20-ish for 2 packs, enough for 100 A6 cards) would do you plenty (or you could get glossy but might be a bit weird inside the card then) - http://www.staples.co.uk/photo-paper-a4-matt-finish-240gsm-white/cbs/371460.html?promoCode=300300666&Effort_Code=WW&Find_Number=371460&cm_sp= You can spend a fortune on inks if you want but ebay compatibles have always worked well for me.
So £65 for the printer, £20 for paper, £17ish for a couple of packs of compatible cartridges + a bit of your time and you get 100 cards plus a better printer to keep0 -

i think the OP was wanting personalised individual ones, so each guest got a photo of themselves at the wedding.Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....0 -
It's a good suggestion, but we rarely use the printer we have (I normally avoid printing or do something sneakily at work!) so I'd prefer not to get another one.
I think we'll just have the individual photos printed and tuck them inside a normal cardIf it's going to be £100 ish to get them printed, why not upgrade your printer? Sorry I don't have any further suggestions but I wanted to say thanks for the idea, we've decided to have the photographer take photos of the greeting line like a captains ball photo shoot on a cruise, that way we have a suitable photo to send out in the thank you cards0

Wicked! Wear a captains hat for it!
But seriously that is a great idea to ensure you've got everyone.Sorry I don't have any further suggestions but I wanted to say thanks for the idea, we've decided to have the photographer take photos of the greeting line like a captains ball photo shoot on a cruise, that way we have a suitable photo to send out in the thank you cards0
