Section 32 Pension Policy after April 2015

  • Hi
Can anyone help me. I am due to retire at 60 in September and i have a section 32 policy and two other personal pension pots.
Aviva have intimated to me that my fund is not enough to cover GMP and i may have to wait till i am 65 to get it.
As my other pots are substantial is there any way i can transfer this fund to them.
Also as these companies got such a kicking from the governments intentions, surely annuities will rise proportionately and the GMP will be covered and i need not buy an annuity from aviva.
    Grateful for any advice.

    Hi wallhaz,

It might be an idea if you started a new Thread as it hopefully will get seen better rather than on page 2 of this thread, that does rather go on for sometime. Just a suggestion and please don't take this the wrong way as I know what its like when one is unsure and needing advice on these situations....Cheers...Biker77...

It might be possible to transfer out by giving up the GMP.
