The valuation for a new build property that we are hoping to buy is happening tomorrow. When are we likely to know the outcome if the valuation? Are new builds at greater risk of being devalued than other properties?
Are we likely to get an offer next week......or do we have more affordability assessments to undergo?

Outcome - two to three working days (unless there is a back log)
New Builds - riskier on value - yes
Offer next week - don't rely on it, Woolwich like all lenders are very busy and it is more likely your offer will arrive the following week - assuming all is OK.I am a Mortgage Broker
