Hi,
Does anyone have these two items in their kitchen? I need to buy a matching fridge freezer and range style cooker (both 600). Non of the big suppliers have them in store to view.
Curry's sell both items but told me to order from the internet.I don't want to buy them both and find they are different shades of cream. It is difficult to tell from the photo's.

Even at John Lewis you have to order the majority of appliances from a catalogue/brochure as the items are then ordered direct from the manufacturer & delivered to you direct from them.
If you are buying different brands of appliances, then I would imagine that the colours are not going to be a perfect match. The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0 -
Cream is like black - it comes in many shades. If you want an exact match, the only realistic way to get it is to buy items made by the same manufacturer.
If you buy from different makers, even if the items start life looking the same shade they may well 'age' very differently.0 -

We were in John Lewis yesterday and they had the freezer in white but were unable to order it in cream even though it as available on other websites.
I may just settle for polar white in the end, although there are differerent shades of white too!
Why is life so difficult, with technology these days you would think they could reproduce images of the exact colour!
Curry's only had the cooker which looked like custard, not cream!0 -
even if you get them to match today from same manufacturer in the future when one breaks it will be difficult to get it to match again. we originally bought hotpoint fridge, washer and dishwasher in silver but had to change the washer and dishwasher (don't get me started on that) and in the end went with different brands for both, slightly different silvers but you really cant tell the difference once you get them in place with the cupboards around the.0

Fair point about using same brand - but does anyone know decent manufacturer that does them all?0
