Do I ever have a hope of buying?

So my situation is pretty bleak but I'm fed up of renting and would like some honest advise without judgement.
I am in a steady job earning £28k my OH is self employed and filed £24k on his last tax return.
I have a DMP and he has a CCJ. These are both being repaid but all stem from me being made redundant and us failing to cope on a single income.
My parents are prepared to give us a deposit but would not pay off our existing debts. We would have around a 25% deposit maybe more depending on the value of the property and would look to buy a property in the region of £100k as a doer upper.
Do we have any hope in hell or is it pretty much a no

Once the DMP is cleared you would probably be ok, but you would need the help of a broker.
Until then, probably not.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
