Hi

We're looking to buy a new home and apply for a mortgages in the next month or so. Would like to get an idea if this might be possible. Currently have a mortgages with Santander and would ideally like to port this over and borrow more as we're on a good rate. If not, open to other lenders that may be able to help.

Mortgages will be joint with OH

My basic £42500
OH basic £17500
No outstanding debts
Looking to borrow 224000 on a property of 265000

Only issue is with my credit file. I have 2 defaults from late 2008 (10k and £800) and another from 2010 (£400). All way paid off in full within a month of defaulting.

Any advice would be much appreciated!

The only people able to tell you are Santander so ask them. There really is no point in getting a load of speculative posts here as they mean nothing.
