Last year we had a new door and UPVC fascias and dry verge fitted by Castles. During the installation they constantly left a mess all over the place and had to be asked repeatedly to tidy up.
When they eventually left I had a massive clean up to do as they had left piles of dirt etc all over including the front of the house wall. I also had to get them back to put the roof tiles back down that they had left up. I also noticed that they had left a hole the size of a fist in my roof that I had to get repaired.
6 months later and they had to return once again as the dry verges had started falling off the roof and the front door frame was falling out. I also had to get the door manufacturers themselves out to the door to repair the damage they had done to the seals.
I waited to write this review to give them chance to redeem themselves by repairing everything but it eventually became more trouble than it was worth as every time their fitter came out he did more damage. On one occasion he stripped the screws on the door latch and left it hanging off. This was on a supposedly simple visit to adjust the door after rain and wind were coming straight through.
Apparently they only use the one fitter so that is the standard you get every time he visits.
This is just a short snapshot of the problems they have caused. In short I would advise anyone to avoid this company.
