Undercounter fridge

Hi I'm looking to buy a new fridge for my kitchen refit. I have had a few under counterfridges over the years and have usually gone for cheap.

However i have been looking at liebherr fridges which are a bit more expensive. Does anyone have any experience with these or any of the other slightly higher quality makes.

Thanks

We have had a built in Bosch for a couple of years. Our previous Neff Fridge was rather impractical, as access to it's bottom storage compartment required stuff on top to be taken out first. This Bosch, has an extra wide door tray, which gets round that problem. However, you may not want built in, in which case I apologise for my post.

Thanks David Aston but it is free standing I'm looking for. Would you say Neff and Bosch would be good makes to buy from your experience?

Neff & Bosch are excellent & very well respected & regarded makes & are actually in the same company group, BSH, as is Siemen's. Bosch is the bottom of their range (though this certainly doesn't mean it's inferior), then comes Neff, who's appliances are often built in, then top of the line is Siemen's.

Oddly enough, you can buy a Bosch appliance that will have pretty much the same specs as the Neff version & the Siemen's version, there might be only very minor differences between the 3 brands.

As it's a fridge you're looking for another brand to consider if they do what you are looking for is Lec. They have been around since time began & they make most of the medical fridges & freezers used here in the UK in hospitals, medical centres, universities etc. so have a good reputation.
The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.

I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.

If it's any help, I have a Hotpoint fridge, I did a bit of searching around reviews and so on before I got my fridge and had quite a tight budget (though not so tight I couldn't take a look through a few brands). I got a Hotpoint as it had quite high ratings from the Which? guide at the time and it's still going strong 10 years later despite all the abuse I've put it though (constant opening/closing, storing too much or nothing at all, leaving the door open (by accident!) then returning after a long summer day out, leaving things to defrost inside...) it's a self-defrosting type and I've not had an issue with ice so far, the shelves are all easy to take out and clean and the outside is also easy to clean. I can get hold of the model number if you want but it was 10 years ago and they are likely to have better models out since then.
