There are some decent ones about but you must do some research, Depending on what you want to do as well here, If you can talk on the phone as well then even more options are on offer.
Never pay a Company anything for any work though as you will likely come unstuck.
Worst ways you could do webcam work although it is not for everyone due to the adult nature required.0 -

Best thing to do is research by reading all the threads in here and check out any sites you come across by googling them to read reviews.
Its trial and error a lot of the time and you have to put a lot of effort into some of the jobs.
Staying at home doesn't equal easy and no effort involved but if you are prepared to put the time in, you could get some fairly decent rewards.0 -
There are a lot of good writing sites to work for such as Textbroker, or you could sign up for People Per Hour. You don't have to pay anything for those ones.0

Can you suggest any?
I was looking to on-line work that does not involve answering the phone.0 -

I'll be honest and say that I never used any of them and would not want to steer you in the wrong direction, You can get form filling roles and so on but remember never pay anyone for signing up to a work from home site as 9 times out of 10 it will be a scam.
I do know one guy that uses elance not sure if it .com or .co.uk and not sure if he did pay anything to join it.
Just take your time and make sure that you read the full T&C's before making a commitment to them.

i joined elance and didnt pay anything, they are all very competitive though and if you are just starting out unless you have samples of your work you will find it very hard to get it when there are lots of people going for the same jobs who have past experiences.0 -
Hi,
You should check out either Leapforce, Lionbridge or Appen Butler Hill. All stay at home jobs, online work. Highly recommended!0
