Hi can anybody help please, i am writing this on behalf of my hubby back in October 2013 we had a letter that stated your CSA case had ended after 18 years we thought great, plan things we hadn't been able too, Then in February 2014 my Employer tells me the CSA rings him and asks to reinstate deduction of order again, i rang them in the evening and they tell me it was closed by mistake and were backdating my payments back to when wrongly closed. the rules had changed now if in education you could claim until age 20, we appealed saw our local MP took it to tribunal eventually and lost so they had another 6 months pay.
My child then finished college on her 19th Birthday and the case was now closed again my last payment was reverted back to my account and the CSA informed my employer no more payments needed, i was told there was a £80 payment to come back to me that had to go through various departments as they do, i rang in April and was told somebody would check and ring me back,
Now in May i rang them again and they said they've been through my account and im £4000 in arrears from 1994/97 they say they have been trying to ring me, she even had to cheek to say they can take 40% of my earnings, ive a mortgage wife and 2 children here. ive had no missed calls no letters nothing, this is a absolute nightmare I have had a order on my wages for the 19 years how can there be arrears.
If any1 can help or advise we are going to see our local MP again this weekend hopefully.
